Once more SCK was the host of the Austrian Championship, again an International event like in 2009, with an impressive fleet, even when Football world cup kept a few from travelling.

Like a king in his own kingdom, AUT 117 sailed by Carl Auteried, faithfull Martin Kendler and Thomas Auteried showed that training pays off, local knowledge even more, they achieved 3 firsts, one third and two sixths in the 6 races scheduled at the event. This team is working hard in their campaign for next 2011 EC that will also be held at the SCK. So far is weird not to see them in the next 2010 EC entry list to be held in La Trinite.

Second shows GER 308 with Karl Haist, Johan Lindner and Irene Haist also a superb lake reader (3,5,2,2,3,2) who are in their own run to the gain back the World Masters trophy next October in their own lake Starnbergsee.

And although it looks like if the article was prepared to advertise other events, the third place GER 300 marinepool team with Roman Koch, Maxl Koch and Dominik Meissner (a gold key to replace Gregor Bornemann in his heavy duty) achieved the third place (5,12,1,4,2,1), also wishing to hold on the World Champion trophy next 2011 worlds to be held in their own lake Chiemsee during April, spring time.

The Austrian standings ended with AUT 117 at the leaderboard once more, AUT 115 Rupert Engel, Gerhard Scherzer and Ernst Seidl at the second position followed by AUT 136 with Johann Kalhs, Christian Kalhs and Ronnie Zeiller.

The event had a superb weather and it is not over in Austria to their own fleet, as next event will be the Denzel cup during the beginning of August and later on the Zipfer Cup returning to the Attersee but this time at the UYCAs.
