Today the ISA published a two year work over the first constitution the ISA had in the early 70s’, with a main objective to make it easier to understand the document itself, the ISA inside work, and also to promote wider participation from small countries in the ISA committee.
Easy changes to track are:
Appointed members – now small countries with 10 or more members less than 20 have the right to appoint a member in the committee but the one must be present in person during the meetings.
Life Members are now part of the ISA Committee, with voting rights like any member in the Committee; they may also give proxies to the meetings to matters they consider are important.
Most of the other changes are related to the document structure who has changed to fit nowadays standards.
Also some officers periods have changed.
