After the marvellous European Championship in Lovere, with 36 boats from 12 countries compiting in a 9 races event, the Italian Soling Fleet resumes his activity with the fourth and last event of the inaugural Italian Soling Circuit, the Italian Open Championship in Riva del Garda, scheduled from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 of September.

A 10 boats italian fleet, with boats coming from Garda Lake, Castiglione della Pescaia, Iseo Lake, Como Lake and Cervia will be joined by boats from Germany (the European Champion Roman Koch, Maxl Koch and Gregor Bornemann), Hungary (HUN 77 Masters champions George Wossala, Karoly Vezer and Peter Nemeth), Austria (the Austrian Champion Carl Auteried, Martin Kendler and Udo Moser) and Spain (with Jaime Martinez sailing with Thomas Peuvrel).

The 16 and more boats will be ready to sail in the typical big breeze of Northern Lake Garda for a 8 races event managed by Fraglia vela Riva del Garda.

This is the first edition of a new Soling event thet will be held in late summer in Riva del Garda to join the italian fleet with visiting boats from Central Europe. The reigning italian Champion is ITA 259 sailed by the Maffezzoli brothers of Bardolino.
